About The Owners:
The owners Connie Manogian & Kelly Potter have had a lifetime filled with horses.
Connie knew from the first glance that horses were her passion, she finally purchased her first horse "Bey Mist" in 1971. After moving to Arizona, her daughter begged her for riding lessons and then talked her off of the fence and into the ring. After a few years on the local circuits, she purchased AQHA "Hankas Top Hat", AQHA "Adams Rocket" & American Performance Horse "Ellen Breese" who won USDF 2nd Level Horse of the Year. She was involved on the BOD for Arizona Dressage Association, was show secretary and continued showing dressage for many years.
Kelly moved to Arizona when she was very young, the love of horses was in her DNA. Her father volunteered at the trail riding facilities in Griffith Park Los Angeles and was a stunt rider in ever growing Hollywood in the early 60's. Kelly begged and begged and finally talked her mom into letting her get riding lessons. A little chestnut arabian named "Traibor" and a very patient instructor, Amy Barrington was the beginning of a lifelong journey. Jumping, Cross Country, English Pleasure, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Team Penning, Halter, Polo, Showmanship & Reining. She has ridden under Colonel Von Ziegner, Jan Ebeling, Steffen Peters & Guenter Seidel. Kelly has worked with the best instructors, shown and tried it all.
After she graduated with her degree in Equine Science she was hired on at a breeding & lesson facility in Idaho. One harsh winter and an icy foaling season was all it took to convince her that Arizona was the place to be. She loaded up her quarter horse and headed back to the warm weather. Arizona was home and it was the place where she met her amazing husband Dave.
Together they all continue to encourage each others love of horses. The family all shows together and encourages others to come and enjoy the shows and the Appaloosa breed. We are not currently training or giving lessons but we do purchase and sell horses that are for Youth. This is the main focus of our business and breeding program.
